SOCIAL GROUP
Voices Heard hosts a monthly social group for three years running now. This monthly group helps support AAC users, their parents and siblings learn how to communicate via their AAC systems. All abilities welcome. This school year, 2025-2026, is the first year we’ve been able to break up the group into two to have two different age groups. Each months the children (and parents!) grow in their bonds and friendships all while using their AAC systems!
The group is held the 2nd Saturday morning of school school year month Sept-June.
9:30-10:15am for 2-6yr olds and 10:30-11:15 for 6-11 year olds
Voices heard accepts a $15 donation if possible from the families to support others with their own therapeutic or device needs through our scholarship program

TRAINING
At Voices Heard, we understand that providing a child with an augmentative communication device is just the first step in helping them to communicate effectively. That's why we also provide training and support to both parents and children on how to use their device. Our team of experts will work with you to ensure that your child is able to get the most out of their device and that you feel confident in your ability to support them. From initial setup to ongoing support, we are here to help every step of the way. With our training and support, your child will be able to use their device to express themselves and connect with the world around them.
